The second annual Legends Fiesta was held on March 2nd & 3rd at Alannia Costa Blanca near Catral and a fab time was had by all. A two day music festival supporting local charity Rock Against Cancer. This year, on Saturday, we had Benny Conway as Billy Joel, Simon Jackson MBE giving his rousing Robbie Williams tribute, the phenomenal Earth Wind & Fire Tribute and live band Atlantis providing a tribute to Cliff and the Shadows and mixing it in with some guitar legends. On Sunday there was Benny Conway as Elton, the brilliant Blues Brothers show, ever popular Take That Tribute Show and local live band Free Ride providing some fast and furious rock and pop to play us out.
The food was really good and Alannia did us proud with fast and helpful service. Thanks to all at Alannia Costa Blanca five star resort. Benimar buses helped ferry some people back and forth for those not staying at the site.
The raffle, online accumulator as well the the chuck buckets collected €1463.60 for Rock Against Cancer - final total to be announced. Alannia gave the main prizes : Two 2 day stays at the resort and 5 Spa & Wellness vouchers for two people. Winners announced on the website and Facebook page. Avery kind lady - Carol Lambe who won the second two day break holiday - donated her prize to be redrawn at a future event as she would not be able to use it. Stephen Messenger claimed the main prize in the accumulator with Mic Littlewood and Stephen Hopkins claiming second & third prizes.

We must thank Amanda and Adrian Hyde, Steve Wigan, Ellen Brown & Brian Parsons for manning the gates and depriving people of their cash for the raffle. Adrian also did a great job as compere and proficiently kept the event on track back stage.

Legends Fiesta 2025 has provisional dates for next March of 11th & 12th. There will be stayover packages announced as well as online tickets available in the coming weeks. The next major two day event will be Autumn Gold Fiesta October 15th & 16th at The Bar, Guardamar Park, in between we have a series of Summer Nights In The Park at Guardamar coming up.
